I have listened to Classicfm online on and off for some time. Now I get a window that says it can't legally transmit outside the UK. When did that happen?

Someone here gave me the link to Classicfm when I was first asking about classical music, JR. It might have been you. Anyway, I bookmarked it, and listen to it from time to time.
I don't know when they changed their broadcasting rules, but I too get a box that comes up and says the site is not allowed to transmit outside the UK. However, it also says that if in fact you are in the UK, please enter your post code and they'll correct the error.

Now, I would never suggest that you do this, but some people I know, have simply entered a UK post code into that box and they were able to listen without a problem. Smile

Anyone want to e-mail me a UK postal code? Or, when I lived in London it was NW 13, or something like that. Would that work?

er, no...I get the gist of it, thank you. Our French in English-speaking Canada, while rudimentary, does enable us to count. Big Grin

Less of the sarcasm, please Big Grin
After all, I did just gave you my parents' post code. It was the only one I remembered off the top of my head. Anyway, they are hardly likely to be tuned in to a classical radio station. Scottish band music, possibly. Roll Eyes

However, if their house gets raided, and Mummy and Daddy end up doing time..I'm blaming you. Smile

Thanks for the code, dg. As Jack Ruby once said, "I'll give it a shot."

JR London N13 Postcode list for you
www.londontown.com/LondonPC/Po...des/Information/N13/
Tip if I'm on a site which asks for My Local postcode (For a casual enquiry) I aways input WN1 1AA which Happens to be the Main post office address in Wigan Town Centre(and valid)
Perhaps NW13 1AA is valid also?
Only thing it may do is reject your request due to your IP address location But its 50/50
Roll Eyes

Edit NW13 1AA does not exist (Googled it)
Instead Use NW13 3AN which is for the HQ of the Abbey National Building Society Big Grin

Thanks. It's been decades since I lived in London, so I'm sure the codes have changed. Hell, the pound was worth $2.50 then, and decimal day had just ocurred.

He simply can't have an ordinary London post code, Bedstor. I just offered him a Home Counties one..Buckinghamshire, no less. It's only 5 minutes away from Chequers. Big Grin

JR, how did you get to be so witty? Roll Eyes
