I have maybe asked this question before, but I can't remember, and my laptop blew out taking all my music with it.

Please go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ernHGtKzCyQ&NR=1

Listen to the song and tell me the artist. I think the name is "Dreamer," but not sure.

Thanks to all.

Confused

Catty the song is "Dreamer" by Supertramp.

Supertramp

They all dressed like that in the 70s, and it seems to me, most of the male singers sung with these incredibly high voices. A problem that can probably be attributed to the fashion of the day, and not what they were smoking before they went on stage.

Thank you, dance girl.

That's called "falsetto," and many singers sang that way, though some of them are pretty old: Frankie Valli, the Beach Boys, Bee Gees, and Freddy Mercury of Queen.

I thought it sounded a bit like Supertramp, one of my favorite bands.
