Only thing I can think of without checking the IMDB was they all had starring roles as cowboys or Movie cowboys bar Doohan?

It would appear that all of them except DeForest Kelley appeared on "The Twilight Zone" and "The Outer Limits". So it could be either of those shows, or both as an answer.

What he was looking for was that everyone except "The Shat" appeared on Star Trek 'TNG' the TV series.
