Was helium first discovered in the Sun? How come and how is it now obtained in commercial quantities?

It was first discovered on the sun when a new yellow line was discovered in the solar spectrum. Hence the name from Helios, the Sun. It is commercially obtained by liquefaction of natural gas. Here's a website that has a lot of information on this element:
