Is it possible to pruduce CO by reducing carbonic acid in solution by a suitable reducing agent?

I feel like you will get CO2, unless you do this experiment in a depleted environment

Do u mean that producion of CO from H2CO3 is possible in depleted environment ie in absence of oxygen? I can not understand your views , please explain with example.
