What are the hazardous substances produced when ordinary poly packs or PVC materials are burnt?

You seem to ask a variety of questions .. I hope that we're not doing your homework and studying for you.

The plastics are organic chemistry based. They'll decompose to H20,C02 with heat.
Most often there will also be incomplete combustion. Yielding CO as well. Some polymers also contain N nitrogen. N0,N02, aka NOx
HCN.
You'd asked about PVC.. HCL will also be a by product.

With further incomplete combustion there's goo that it formed by the heat decomposing the polymer but below the ingition point. This goo can flow in a fire like oil and then ignite later and spreading the fire.

Real plastics that get used in products often contain fillers, antioxidants plasticizers, that are also combustible. The MSDS for a specific plastic will give the fire hazards.
Most often CO,C02, H20, HCN,N0x. Fire fighters should wear SCBA when entering a smoke plume (wood fires too).

I thank Mr Peteeo for enlightening me elaborately in reply to my question.

But his comment(I hope that we're not doing your homework and studying for you.)is not understood. Is there any bar of posting various types of questions? If so please inform me. I must abstain from posting questions. I am a student. I think the forum will help me to clear various confusions through discussion and provide me infomations of very wide span.
If I am wrong please inform me,Sir.

Your questions have been very specific, and, from our viewpoint, could have been homework questions that you decided to have done by members of this board. You must remember that we can't tell motives from a posts. There is a thin line between helping someone with their homework and helping someone understand a concept. It's my opinion, judging by all your posts, that you are seeking understanding, which is what these forums are all about. Others may come to a different conclusion.

Su_chem, if you are interested in Chemistry and wish to learn more, then we have members here who are happy to help you.

Peteeo was asking if you are posting your homework questions here and expecting our members to research the answers for you. We don't like to do this because students do not learn if someone provides the answer for them. I'm sure you'll agree that anyone wishing to learn about any subject, including chemistry, must do the work themselves and only ask questions that will help them to reach the correct answer.

As DorianGreyed said; we are here to help you to understand and to increase your knowledge, but as Peteeo said; we aren't here to do all your homework for you. I hope that explains it clearly to you. Smile

I request me Kendor to be kind enough to explain what he means to say "From India su?"
