ok there really isnt a place for this, so i picked earth science.
i remember reading a few years ago about some unusual 'lines' on the ground somewhere.
the lines have made shapes of monkeys, a hummingbird, what looks like an alien and a few other things that i cant remember right now when viewed from an airplane.
where are they? anyone got a good web site?
i like the theories behind them. some people think they are messages to aliens, or a ancient genius gone mental, elaborate water ways, or that they are natural and just happen to look like objects we recognise.

and also, i always come up with questions about archeology. where should i post them?

Lynda- depending on the question, archeology questions could go in a number of places.

Archeology dealing with human culture is classified as a part of anthropology, which would put such questions in the Social Sciences category. Some might fit equally well in the another social science that has been given its own forum, History (in News & Reference).

Archeology dealing with human evolution would probably go best under Biology, although it is also often considered part of anthropology and therefore could also go in Social Sciences.

The related field of paleontology (essentially archeology that doesn't deal with people) would go best in Biology or Botany.

As for this question, I think this is a good place for it, but it could also fit in Social Sciences (if you believe the lines to have been made by people) or Mystic Creatures/Mystic Places (in The Unexplained)
