Sure!

Sam,
Mass: is the amount of matter contained in a body, conventionally measured in Kilograms (Kg).

Weight: is the amount of gravitational force exerted upon a particular body; the SI unit being Newton(N).

Mass is a quantitative measure of the amount of inertia (or matter) an object has. Weight is the amount of force that the earth is pulling an object towards its center with (I say earth, but it could be any source of gravity). Weight is not a direct measurement like mass is; since weight is a force, it has to be calculated with this simple formula:

Force = Mass * Acceleration

In this case, Force = Weight and Acceleration = Acceleration due to the pull of gravity. On earth, acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s2, but on the moon, it's only about 1.63m/s2. An object will always have the same mass no matter where in the universe it is, but it's weight can change depending on the strength of the gravitational source. On the earth, a man may weigh 150 lbs, but on the moon, he will only weigh 25 lbs, even though his mass is constant.
