Interesting question. Oil and oil products can be described Mineral spirits, Mineral oil. Minerals are generally solid. It is created in geological process.
To me oil is not a rock but both are derived from mineral sources.
Then to break the rule in the same paragraph we have 'oil shale' and the Athabasca Tar sands.
These materials are far from pourable as they leave the ground.
