can anyone suggest a rock?

I need a type of rock for gravel that is...

slightly porous
is not brittle
has no cleavage
and does not absorb and hold heat

I also need a type of rock with the same specifications except that it does absorb and hold heat.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Rocks do not cleave or fracture, only the minerals that they are made of.

How about pumice?
