I've heard all this bruhaha about "The Perfect Storm" movie thats been out for a year or so.

What WAS this Perfect Storm? When and where did it take place? (I didn't see the movie myself)

Why is it such a perfect Storm? I mean Hurricane Andrew was as much an example of a storm to MY way of thinking as any OTHER storm.

Shed some light on this subject people, enlighten me!!

The 70-foot swordfish longliner Andrea Gail was heading back toward Gloucester from Canada's Grand Banks when it ran into hurricane-force winds Oct. 28.

The vessel went down somewhere off Sable Island, apparently with the whole crew aboard.
