I was thinking if I was transported in time to some other place, what is the best way to look around to judge what is the time frame I would be in?

Do you mean how do you find out what year it is? LOL, a fellow sci-fi fan I see! Well the answer would depend on whether you were traveling to the future or the past. If it is the past, look around at the modes of transportation, and look at the air quality. If it is the future, go to a public library, get on a computer and double click the clock icon in the bottom right hand side of your screen. That is if microsoft is not obsolete. 2) Is DG here? If the answer is yes, you are probably in the future.

If both answers are "Yes", it's right now.

Note: If the answer to the first question is, "Who?", it is really a long time ago.

This thread is really far out. If I found myself in what seemed to me to be another place, I would initially want to know answers about the place, especially the people/other in it, not about the time. I'd also worry about the bathroom and refrigerator, or their equivalents. When I would have come to my senses, I would pray and get some of God's answers.
