How do I find out which candidates are running for what positions before I step into the voting booth on November 7th? Usually my local paper has a great (if somewhat biased) voter guide but I can't seem to find that this year. Where else might I turn? The state website keeps locking up on me...

Try the Rochester League of Women Voters.

Generally, Project Vote Smart will get you most of them and some information about them, wherever you live.

For Elexina, the Monroe County Board of Elections has a candidate list (about 2/3 of the way down).

The paper says they'll post their stuff October 29th. Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute, eh?

Thank you both!
