Does anyone know whether an ex-president's wife can continued to get her husband's salary if he dies?

Thanks DD, the article did answer my question and offered much more info as well. I found it very interesting and got quite educated on a number of things that I didn't know. It opened in pdf format.

One thing I don't understand though is why would a president that resigns under pressure after doing wrong, would still get a lifetime pension.
