I wonder if we can get graduates of bimbo school to pay good money to see the abandoned limestone blocks in Indiana?

Personally I don’t see #3 as being a bad idea. Sure the cost overruns ultimately caused the demise of the Superconducting Super Collider but the idea of building the largest particle accelerator in the world was solid.

The main cost overrun issue was a decision made to increase the bore diameter from 4cm to 5cm. That raised the cost originally estimated by almost 50%.

The Superconducting Super Collider would have brought high energy physics to a new pinnacle of technical accomplishment and theoretical understanding. Good science is hard enough under the best of circumstances, toss politics into the mix it becomes practically impossible Roll Eyes .

I blame Clinton Razz !
