The Court of Appeal has allowed an appeal against deportation by abu Qatada, described as the spiritual leader of al Qaeda and a 'right hand man' of Osama bin Laden. He was to be deported to Jordan, where he has been convicted in his absence. The appeal was allowed because the judges thought that evidence had been obtained under torture abroad and he would be tortured abroad if deported. They allowed appeals by two other terrorist suspects too, on similar grounds
Does that sound the kind of thing that the Bush administration would approve of?
The Bush Administration uses the same interrogation techniques as the Clinton administration.
Liberals don't care about torture, really, it's just ammunition against the man they have taught themselves to hate. If they really cared about torture, truly, wouldn't they be spedning a lot more time protesting the cutting off of heads of people while awake?
How can anyone ever take liberalism seriously when complaints such as this are so selective and targeted ONLY against America and Bush?

The cutting off of peoples heads is a form of capital punishment chosen by some Middle Eastern Countries. Capital punishment is also carried out by the U.S.A. Whichever method of execution is used it is, in my opinion, wrong.
This liberal objects to all capital punishment (Although it is difficult seeing some of the crimes committed by some low life.)
This liberal also objects to torture of any and all prisoners, of whatever persuasion. (It has been proved that torture is ineffective in obtaining correct information. Prisoners being tortured will say anything to avoid it.)
This liberal doesn't believe in "my country right or wrong." I walked in London to stop the U.K. going to war in Iraq.(Much good it did as Tony Bliar (Not sic) had already agreed with Bozo to go to war)
This liberal objected when the Clinton administration was in the wrong, and will object whenever wrong is done. I suppose that's one of the crosses to bear for being a liberal.
