It looks increasingly that Barack is going to win the Democratic nomination. I wonder if there is a "Lone Nut" being trained somewhere to get rid of him before he can become President. I certainly hope not.

I wouldn't worry four. If a president was accessible to an assasin, don't you think GWB would be dead by now? An awful lot of folks truely hate the man.
Assassins generally target people like Jesus, Ghandi, Martin Luther King jr., John F. Kennedy, etc. They usually seem to love the G.W Bushes of the world, IMO.
I honestly thought there would be an attempt on "W" but there has been none.
Who was the rapper - 50 cent? - who recently said Obama would be assassinated?
And of course there will be those who believe the Clintons will be behind it if Hillary is the VP. Or did we forget the suspicions surround the deaths of Vince Foster and Ron Brown?
Then of course there will be those who think radical black Americans would plot such a demise, to have blacks join their militant cause. Err...is there a militant black group like the Black Panthers any more? It doesn't matter - the conspiracy theorists will come out of the woodwork!

The common thread is that those victims were all inspiring leaders who refused to accept the past.So Hillary Clinton is safe enough. Obama, on the other hand, fits the bill.
