Okay the last two months I have not had a period at all. I'm on the pill and have been on the same one for about a year. I'm in the process of buying a house but I have NEVER missed a period in my life. Not even when my wedding was called off and I had to sell my house and move. I went to the doctor last month for a test and they did a urine test and it was negative. They told me to resume my BC pills as normal. Today I did a stick test and again it was negative.
Can this be something more than just stress?

Yes it can mean you're not in great shape. The body will conserve resources when it has to. Stress or overwork can cause a temporary interruption. Have you lost a lot of weight lately?

No I haven't. I think the mystery might be solved. I didn't realize the generic form of birth control I was using was actually Loestrin. So not having a period with that type of birth control can happen. I feel a little better about this but I am scheduled to see my physician in a week so I'm certainly going to get some answers then. I just didn't want it to mean that my birth control was causing my body to REALLY not be able to have children when I'm ready.
Anyone else use Loestrin or know someone who has and has had similar issues?

I am using it right now. I used to have a period of about 6-7 days, and since I started I have beem having for 3-4 days. I guess I think every person reacts differently.
