It seems since I had my daughter 2 years ago I seem to feel a pressure down there when I have my period. It happens more when I'm standing and when my period is a little heavier. Has this happened to anyone else? confused

Everyone's cramping is different during their period and, as I have never had children, I cannot say I've experienced exactly what you do. If your period is still regular and the pressure doesn't bother you (and you are getting routine checkups, as you should), I wouldn't worry. You should just mention it at your next doctors' visit. But if it bothers you, call your doctor and see what s/he suggests. There may be a vitamin or hormone you can take to reduce that. You may even want to try birth control, as it does tend to lessen cramps.

If you are experiencing a lot of discomfort, Thermacare has come out with heat wraps for that very reason. I found a site that is offering free samples of this product.
