As anyone herd of "Cycle Beads" (Cycle Beads)? Any users out there? I was going to use them with my girl friend (along with condoms) so we can see when she is less likely to get pregnant incase something happens. I can't see why it would not hurt to try it and along with condoms and not use it by it's self which you should not do anyway if you are avoiding preganancy according to their web site.

I believe they were designed by Planned Parenthood and the World Health Organization for illiterate women. It helps them with the rhythm method, a.k.a. Vatican Roulette, of which we have spoken before.

Tread lightly, Doug, or you may find the issue of how to avoid impregnating this girlfriend, at any rate, a moot one.

Either she is responsible and smart enough to keep her own calendar or she is too irresponsible and careless to be a good bet as a sex partner.
I think it's great that you are taking a responsible role in preparing for the risks of sexual intimacy, but I'll tell ya true... You're getting really a little creepy about all the research into how to keep track of her cycle and I, personally, would not even consider being intimate with someone who wanted to be this far up in my business, metaphorically speaking.

We’ve already explained to you what needs to be done in several other posts.

I know why Doug is so involved in her calender. He isn't being creepy; he is being cautious. He doesn't really love the girl and just wants to have sex with her. He doesn't want to marry her, doesn't like a LOT of things she does and basically has admitted that he would be STUCK if she gets pregnant. She just has a hot body and he wants to use it and not get too serious with her as a person. The girl is dumb as a box of rocks with no sense of humor. He breaks up with her because she drives him crazy then he gets horny and takes her back. Beauty fades but dumb is forever. I wouldn't be surprised if she traps him by purposely getting pregnant. I don't even need to ask Doug a question. I have read his posts and based on what he said, I'm right. He has had problems with her for years. He's thinking with the wrong head.

Uh yea if I did not love her you think I would be makeing all these posts, asking all these questions or have made a responceable sex check list and what not? I want to have sex with my first true love, don't see any harm in that. Plus I think in my case it's a good idea since she was my first girl friend ever of 7 years! This check list, research, calendar, etc has been going on for 3 months now. Doug, if you really want to make this special let's get out of the science lab and into the real world. Enjoy your time with her, don't over analyze, have a condom handy, and when the time is right just enjoy it and trust that you and her both have enough sense and insight to know your own bodies and provide for your own protection.

DOUG... focus your attention on proper condom use and being able to competently put it on. You mind to your business and let her mind her business. You have to realize this one little thing - the only real control you have is the condom. Focus on that and forget everything else.

Statistics are not 100% because not every guy out there learns to use condoms properly, is careless or doesn't put them on properly causing them to break. Focus... learn your own business.
