Thats the general idea. I haven't heard from her in a day or so, but I'd like to give her a few ideas. I'm sure she's spoken with several different doctors and at this point just trying to seek out ideas and options to avoid a hysterectomy. I can't say I fault her logic in that and I want to help her. (if I/we can) D/G Thanks for the wonderful thoughts. A/P has always been one of my favorite sites, but I'm so............not "worthy" enough to post a lot around here. I do try to offer help when I can, but being a jack of all trades and a master of only one, that severely limits my expertise to automotive. But A/P surely isn't short on knowledgeable answers, so I usually keep my mouth shut and my ears open here unless I feel I have something positive to contribute. Thats why you see me elsewhere posting b/s. I have a Phd in that! hehehe

There are lots of reasons why a woman might stop ovulating, from stress like you mention over PCOS, thyroid issues and many others. Many of these things can be solved, or at least the symptoms lessened, without a hysterectomy.
From her; I was on progesterone. I've had a biopsy on my cervix and they determined I haven't ovulated in a while.
