I recently started using tampons for the first time, and everything's going great except for one little issue. I usually regular size Tampax , and they go in fine, but they're pretty hard to remove. I read in a magazine the other day that this may be due to using too large an absorbancy. I'm only using regular, and my periods are fairly heavy, to the point where the tampon is soaked... but it's still hard to remove. Anyone have any advice or ideas as to what might be going on here???

Why not try the lighter days style as an experiment to see how it goes?

I'd rather change my protection more frequently than have discomfort during the use of it.

There is also a product made by Tampax called Tampax Pearl which has a smoother insertion and removal you might try.

"Instead" is also a product I have used that is NOT a tampon that I have liked because of less irritation. It seems awkward to use at first, but I really liked it when I got the hang of it.
