I have had this happen to me several times. One time I had to go to the emergency room because the gland was so swollen I could neither sit nor stand. The doctors told me that it is common in women, but any woman I ask about this has never heard of it. Have any of you had this problem or had it happened to anyone you know? Just curious..

I've not had that happen to me, but I HAVE had patients with the issue. It is quite painful.
