I had a full hysterectomy 2 yrs ago leaving only one ovary it has been hurting so bad I went to the emergency room 2 days ago and they gave me an appt for my doc and pain meds I see my doc monday does anyone know what this is? Im so worried

There's no way for anyone online to know. The way to find out is by seeing your doctor. It might not even be the ovary that is the source of pain. Meanwhile, if it gets worse, or if you get other symptoms such as fever or nausea, you should go back to the ER or contact your doctor's answering service

I had the same in 1968, and my one remaining ovary hurt for years. Would you believe it's still a little tender but apparentlly not even there?

Try sleeping on your side which does not have the good but painful ovary.
