I have very noticeable veins on my breasts that run to the nipple. Do most women have this? To me, it's very unnatractice b/c they're VERY noticeable. Why does this happen?
Well yes, we all have the veins but they usually are not so apparent. It sounds to me like your skin is very translucent. Are the appearance of veins dominant in other areas such as your hands or perhaps your face?

My veins are very noticeable because I am EXTREMELY fair.
A little story/illustration: One of my best friends had a sleep over in my dorm room one night. The next morning, she saw me in my disheveled morning appearance.. black hair all tumbled, etc. She called me Sleeping Beauty.. red lips, black hair, white skin...
It was amusing at the time.

I also have very light skin. My veins are very noticable, especially in the legs and ankles. They are less visable in the summer, after I get a slight tan.

I asked about pregnancy and the pill because both of those can cause veins on the breasts to become more prominent, especially for women around your age.
i also have this same thing. the skin on my chest is also fair and rather transparent, however i personally find it rather pretty and feminine. My husband has also never complained. i have a motto that you ought not worry about things you cannot change. everyone is beautiful.
Apparently we all concur that it is a natural appearance for fair-skinned women! This is one reason why during the Renaissance and Elizabethan times, women would apply heavy layers of powder to their decollatage! But if they bother you so much, about the only thing you can do is apply a good self tanner. The subtle tint of a "tan" will make them less noticeable. Just as Jejelale states!
