Nice one ! Perhaps some of us should have tried that as an early career move, instead of going the long way round to get noticed
The real problem when appearing in our equivalent is not fainting but that you are suddenly stone deaf. You can see their Lordships' lips moving when they address you but somehow you don't seem to hear what they say . Odd because none of the seniors seem to have any problem with the acoustics; and neither did you when they were being addressed . Nerves get most barristers like that the first time.
