Does anyone know where I can go canoeing in the state of florida or New York????

In the state of Florida you can go to Juniper Springs in Ocala National Forest. It's absolutely beautiful and takes about 6 hours to complete the canoe run if you take your time. You can pull up along the shore and have a picnic if you choose and if you need to rent equipment they have everything you can think of there. It's so peaceful that many times you'll feel like your the only person left in the world. If your looking for something a bit more open then you can go to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground where they let you rent a canoe and have a small run. (you rent the canoe by the 1/2 hour) It's nice and peaceful but nothing like the one in Ocala.
