soaringhorse: I've downloaded every update (except ones that are program specific, and that I don't have ); it couldn't hurt. WinME was always very problematic and the updates help clear up some of them. I have WinXP Pro and have found the same to be true; the more updates I've installed, the better my PC seems to be running. I'd say yes, to the update. Wait for a second opinion from one of our experts, as I could be (*gasp*) wrong. It's never happened before, but better not take a chance. LOL

Well, I will try loading it then. Had the weirdest thing happen today when I first started the computer. Needless to say Win Me is always doing something strange, LOL I had this screen come up saying error, Hibernate did not finish (or something like that) do you want to complete hibernate Y or N. I hit No, but how did it do that, I didn't hibernate my computer, never have! Also after that it took me directly to Windows Update to get a security package for the Windows Media Player which I had already downloaded but I did so again, whatever! But what I couldn't understand is why it had one critical update listed, yet once I downloaded the media player update it didn't have it, hmmmm, odd. Also it actually bypassed my home page on IE when I had first clicked on the internet. Is that part of the windows update security for IE6 SP1?
