I would like to set up a wireless system at my house so I could use my printer to print from my laptop without having to physically hook the laptop up to the printer. I've never done anything like this before so how would I go about it? Do I need an entire wireless network, or is there something special I can get that just allows printing? Thanks!

If your laptop has built-in Bluetooth (newer Macs have it standard), then a Bluetooth wireless printer might do the trick. If you don't have bluetooth already, then the wifi-based solution suggested by Dwight might be a better way to go.
