I like Date Manager, from GAIN. http://www.date-manager.com/ It also comes with a program called Precision Time, which updates your clock to the US Naval Observatory time.

ivnj, this software from GAIN only brings up minimal pop-up ads that are automatically shut with a pop-up blocker. It's not like anything you do on a computer is completely private anyway. Wink

GAIN is the same company that makes GATOR which has been mentioned here several times as major spyware.

Theres a bunch more calendars out there!

Yahoo! Calendar
Sends reminders via YIM, Email
http://calendar.yahoo.com/

AOL Calendar (works with free AIM screennames)
Sends reminders via AIM, Email
http://calendar.aol.com/

If you're a fan of Mozilla, theres a special calendar that you can install. Drawback: Calendar is tied to your pc, can't access from everywhere.

MkStfnz, now you know how I feel. Just because software displays a popup, people label it as "spyware". Mad

Popups are fine as long as they don't spy or actively collect unauthorized information form your computer. Or slow it down for that matter. Plus look at THIS thread towards the bottom for more free non spyware clock syncers, instead of presion time.

PUP, try THIS.

Right click on any folder on the left and Add New Folder. Then right click on that folder and Add Item or the Green + above that pane. Click on that item and start typing in the right pane.

Also look at THIS neat one.

For a nice spyware-free calendar that's available online from any computer with a web browser connected to the Internet, you can try the "Personal Desktop" feature available at http://www.freewebtown.com (FreeWebTown.com Community).

There's also an included e-mail account, notepad, to-do list, and address book (all for free). It's a free website too, but that's not what you asked for.

p.s. - IMO, Gator is a really annoying AND sneaky software line that does not deserve any legitimate praise. Any application that tries to hide its true activities/purpose is dishonest - no matter what good things it might do for you.

Enjoy!
