I am doing updates in preparation for upgrading to Broadband and installed a new Logitech Webcam
Today I noted a new folder in the C:\ drive called "SXS"
with a title like that you think..Spyware of the XXX kind or XXX Trojan ?
but Upon closer inspection It had 4 files plus 2 security certificates msxml4 and msxml4r
no executables.
Upon opening the certificates and seeing the signature/signer I found this:
Microsoft Windows Side-by-Side Assembly Publisher
Now can anyone tell us what it does ?

I don't go in for web development, there are experts aplenty to do that for me Big Grin,

I'll stick to hardware, spyware and networking, that's enough for anyone to try and become competent at. Got a LONNNNNG way to go before I get there though Cool

Have a look in the Websites Forum Below
look at this topic It has pages from the Predecessor site to this site(some links work but It will give you a rough idea of the volume of material and enthusiasts that were resident there.
Answerpool arose out of this, and Hugh has kept and improved on the theme that the Answerpoint site had going?
Was supposed to be added to the above post but the editing time is not reliable Frown

XML is a markup language used by many pieces of software, operating systems and the like. It can be used to create a structured flat-text database system.

Some of the most common applications are configuration files for programs/operating systems because of its nested, class-based nature.

I could go on, and on... and on.
