I have been using Firefor V.1.0 almost exclusively. There are 3 plug-ins that have to be installed after you install FireFox. 1 - Java 2 - Flash Player 3 - Shockwave. Here is the LINK to it.
I've been using it. I can't say I see anything special about it. But then again, I'm very unpicky. My dad says it helps to prevent viruses better which does seem to be true since it seemed to be pretty protective whenever I wanted to click on something (I've never had any problems with any other browser though so I feel more like it's just overdoing it more than I need it to.) But I didn't find any problems with it either.

The Firefox browser, WAS known as safe, if you needed to traverse some unsavory places; however, there have, recently, been found a few security holes, by Secunia, that may want you to rethink your "safety net; " vis a vis, Firefox.
Still, if you find yourself in some "hellholes," Firefox is, far, and away, the better browser. I use Avant for "day to day;" Enigma for places with "floaters," and Firefox for the REALLY nasty places that one is forced to visit, from time to time.
Just my personal experience, and not an endorsement of any browser...although IE is the WORST, as far as security holes, and SP2 will NEVER be installed on my system, until they fix their bugs.
Food for thought, ya'll.
