I think I really messed up, I went to unnecesary files and clicked find, and selected all and deleted. Well it keeps on trying to put IE 5 History/History in the recycle bin along with alot IE/Tempory Internet Files/Content. So I went to the recycle bin to clear it, and it won't let me delete History IE5, but it also will not let me restore it either. So what do I do now. It's just sitting there in the recycle bin.
I have WinMe by the way.

PS: I rebooted and it let me delete it, but why does it keep on wanting to delete this folders? Aren't they necessary?

the actual contents aren't, but to delete the folder itself is strange

Easy Cleaner is one of my nightmare programs, I'm afraid

I have seen more "messes" with this legitimate program than any other. It seems to be even worse when in connection with XP Frown

Dang, I miss puta, wish he could help on this one. I will ask another question about this easy cleaner though. Maybe someone else has experienced the same problems. I went to update it, and it ran a download to who knows where Roll Eyes. And when it was thru, it said to uninstall the old version and run the easycleaner exe file. Well, sounds easy, right? LOL Noootttt! I couldn't find the exe file of course because I completed uninstalled and deleted easycleaner, and there wasn't no where to be an exe file for it. Now the pc's running slow as molasses, and I just want it to run normal again. Does easycleaner have a registry or something that needs to be cleaned or what? I am having trouble shutting down, ever since I uninstalled this program.

PS. I have WinMe

Have you tried System Restore? Go to Start, Programs, Accessories, then System Tools. Click on System Restore. Click on a date to set the computer back to a time before you deleted the files. That usually works miracles.
