Hi all, just visited Dell driver updates, and found there are BIOS updates available. I have A02 and there are updates to A03 and A04(latest) what are the advantages of flashing BIOS? as my system is running very smooth (fingers crossed though!)at present,no obvious problems.
This from Dell has me a little concerned.
"Flashing the BIOS:
NOTICE: Changing the system BIOS may result in unintended side affects, such as incompatibility of the new BIOS with installed hardware. If problems arise after a BIOS change, it may be necessary to return the system to the original version of the BIOS."
If I do flash BIOS would I have to flash to A03 then to AO4, or go straight to AO4?
Thanks.

It is pretty clear to me: Unless you have problems that could be resolved by flashing your BIOS, leave well enough alone. I went so far as to purchase a new BIOS chip for my ASUS PC3D mobo and it would not even bootup!! I put old one back in.
