Originally I updated every 2-3 months, but it seems every month is a better method? Wink only takes a few seconds of your time to download & upgrade Wink

Try using POW, you can find it on Google. You'll see a popup ONCE, then, when you add it to the list, never again. Good luck!

P.S. Happy New Year to all!

I use the free PopupStopper program from Panic Ware. I get no popups. There are Ad ware and Spy ware nasties that are part of innocent downloads, which install popups on your computer.

Samantha, I strongly suggest you use Lavasoft's free Ad-aware Standard Edition to scan for and remove "malware" programs which may be producing the popups (and other nasty actions). Before scanning, be sure to use the update feature to obtain the latest support files.

That's the standard warning when you're downloading program files, and isn't intended to indicate that any particular threat has been detected.

A safe download site is PC World magazine.

samantha,
I also recommend PCWorld highly for downloads. They have more types of downloads than alot of sites I've ever seen.

But after telling them just to run this Program alone and delete the other they are reporting that the Popups have been reduced to almost nothing Cool
