If you have read about Newsfeeds and Offline Viewing You will Have Heard to view these in a text form, You will need a Program called an RSS Reader
And In the early days there were (and still are) several formats and you needed to know what was suitable for the Feed

But as I have Found Microsoft (with IE 8.0) Has built in its own Universal Reader Detector for Feeds on the Pages And Its Simple to Use ...And No Preparations such as selecting the correct Feed for the Reader
In Practice if you Can Save a link to "Favourites" with 1 click, this does the same

That quick!
I Have My Latest Gmail postings (Headlines) coming in via this route as the offline Viewing Feature is Not working properly for some reason

And I was worried that It would overload, but It Resizes constantly so there is No Buildup/Bloat issues occuring

NOTE I have not discovered how this safety valve works, or its location ect.
As regard adding the Feed in 1 Click Look to see if it the Orange Tile icon to the Right of the Home Page Button is Lit or try pressing the "Alt and the J" Keys together This has added the Feed to Your Personal List
Next Question is: Where is It? Not in the Favourites nor the Documents Folder
Clue: Look for the Orange Star on the Left of the Add-ons Toolbar
Click it and your Feed Link is here under the Feed Tab. The others are History and Favourites
If you do not want to commit youself But test the Water Microsoft have 2 feeds in Place with Tips and Advice Click on
" Microsoft Feeds" then either "Microsoft at Home" or "Microsoft at Work"
PS If the Icon Is Green then that means a "WebSlice" feed is available
Its an Intact Save of that section of the Page ... seen the Video below
Not Many sites use the Green Icon Alert yet .
Try sites Like Ebay ,Amazon, and Classified sites for these links.
So If you want to save then I advise try doing it Manually(How to? See the video below)

www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/media/images/98x55/web_slices_98x55.jpg Again Looks a No Brainer
