I had not seen your question earlier. Sorry to be so long in replying. If you haven't already fixed this game problem, try this: Click start/run and type dxdiag Click OK Click each tab in turn and note any problems the utility may point out. If no problems are found, click the "Display" tab and disable each item (Direct Draw, Direct 3D, AGP Texture acceleration) in turn, and try your game between each to see if it will play. (You can run the tests, too). If the Display doesn't help, go to the "Sound" tab and turn the "Hardware Sound Acceleration Level" to it's lowest setting and try your game again. If it plays at the lowest setting, you can advance the Sound by one and try that. If that works, try another set, and so forth. Leave it where the game plays correctly.
