I wish www.searchmash.com had been out when I started .I first started with Altavista and Yahoo both fully featured search engines eventually graduating to Google (which was just starting out)

But to the absolute beginner what would us veterans recommend ...Nearly every Search engine is Feature rich and too complex to get the best out of it

So Google have released this cutdown Very Basic version under the www.searchmash.com banner
And it does only 2 things 1) searches the Google database for answers by combining keywords (Unknown if it accepts Booleam logic keywords?) and 2) has a cutdown image search page too
NOTE There are NO preferences or Filters...what you see is the entire gubbins

For somebody who want basic facts I think this'll tick their boxes
Strangely I see no direct or indirect reference URL to Google which is where people will go to after they want to find other ways of searching the Internet

Wow! I have been searching for an answer of how to remove nail polish from wood furniture. No one could find the answer.. until I typed it into THIS serach engine!! Too cool!
