Thought us British were bonkers for eating it Go on Give it a try PS Be aware there are both Meat and fruit versions (It's the Meat variety which has an uniqueness about it) And a big UK brand of Steak & Kidney pie (Fray Bentos)originally came with a suet pastry crust until somebody "decided" (costs?) that puff pastry was just as good (and it lost an awful lot of sales) Filling is now barely minced "beef" flavour
