Crickets can be whole, wingless, or legless depending on personal preference.

Get a handfull or two of live crickets. Place in a collander and cover the top with a screen. Run water through to thouroughly rinse the crickets. Put crickets into a plastic sandwich baggie and place in freezer for about 15 minutes so that they are dead, but not frozen. Next, spread them out on a coockie sheeet and place in the oven on 350 degrees for about 5-10 minutes or until crunchy.

This snack is good eating plane, with added salt, or dipped in melted chocolate.
