Hey, if you're looking for the ultra vacation, check out this 7 star hotel -- Burj-Al-Arab in Dubai, United Arabian Emirates. Take the virtual tour; you can stay there for under $2500 a night. (Hey Shelster, weren't you looking for a place to go a vacation?) Anyway, if anyone here stays here, please tell us all about it ---and how you could afford it.

Why, Jenny, right after I win the lottery of course, I'll be there! Roll Eyes
I just can't imagine how many people could actually afford to stay here, can you? It sure does look like the definition of opulence -- like 1/2 of 1% of the population lives.

Hello everyone, I did stay at the Burj al arab hotel in the UAE. Its summer, and my friends and myself decided to take a break from university life and enjoy somewhere outside Canada. We booked a 3 bedroom suite, and stayed there for 4 days cuz we couldnt afford more. We got access to the water park and stuff. We spent as much time as possible in the hotel for 4 days, and then moved to a cheaper one. We were able to afford it cuz we had contacts within the hotel, and they were able to give us a couple of hundred dollars off the total amount. But.... the time and money were well spent. We actually got a free ride in a stretch from the airport to the hotel. But if u stay in the higher class rooms, u get a heli ride from the airport. Too bad we couldnt afford that.

Peace.

The virtual tour was very cool.. but the place is ENTIRELY too gaudy for my taste. I guess I am a more simple person at heart. Roll Eyes

First, welcome to Answerpool, M5Guy. Hope you stick around and have some fun here with us.
So -- WOW -- you actually stayed here. So did they throw any meals in with these prices? How did they treat you as a Canadian -- friendly? Would love to hear more and live vicariously thru your adventures.

They thought he was american and the secret soviet sunni police followed him everywhere in case he started to spread diseases like democracy and free health care for some.

Anyhow, how did the petrol compare? I hear there's is a little more bitter.
