This morning when I was getting my oil changed, I noticed they had a motor oil designed for high mileage vehicles. Supposed to help reduce leaks, oil consumption, etc.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever used this oil and what kind of luck you had with it? The product was put out by Pennzoil.

Well, you didn't say the exact name, but I found this awesome website! It will tell you everything you wanted (and some you don't) about their products!

It sounds to me like it probably isn't worth the extra dollar. They are advertizing to "high milage" meaning older car most of the time. All they can realistically do is put a thicker oil so your car won't leak.

Save a buck and buy the thicker oil made for your car.
