clarebear Diamond Enthusiast Enthusiast of the Year	Posted Does the lemon law cover the same part being replaced or the entire system? My boyfriend had his brakes worked on 4 times in the last 2 years. It was a different part each time. What exactly is the lemon law and what would be the first step in taking action? (I'm hoping there is a self help way without an attorney for financial reasons) Thanks.

teeceeum Platinum Enthusiast	Posted Hide Post To the best of my knowledge, there is no national lemon law. Each state administers its own program. I would suggest starting with either your state or local department of consumer afairs. You can do that without a lawyer.
