Must say, I'd follow the owner's manual. I've a Merc. If I stopped the car and drove slowly to a garage every time a light came on or flashed I'd be doing nothing else. They don't stay on for long.A yellow one did, but it 'cured' itself the next time I drove the car. I don't know what one of them means.Perhaps I should ring the garage to find out, out of curiosity My Skoda has the same tendency. One of the lights on that indicated, according to the manual, 'stop the car and drive slowly to the nearest agent', so I did. The mechanic solved the problem in moments, saying 'It should stay off now, but if it comes on again, ignore it !' which seemed suitably sanguine Or you could follow my father, an engineer all his life.Teaching me to drive, he said 'That little red light is the oil indicator. It comes on and goes off on starting. If it comes on when you're driving that means 1) you need new oil or 2) you need a new engine or 3) you need a new litle red light assembly. The last is the likeliest!'

My guess is its Differential related If the Vehicle has a Limited slip Diff These are Sometimes electronically operated and Still guessing there is a Road Wheel speed sensor fitted to each side connected to the activation box for the Diff Hence your "warning" 1 of the sensors is faulty on a 4WD there will be 4 of these May also indicate a possible oil seal leak on the Inboard driveshaft. and the sensor is feeling fresh air! Have you tried the "Knock on lock" test? Drive around an empty parking lot at full lock @ walking pace to 10 mph MAX A driveshaft if its faulty will "Knock" DO it Both ways and the Knock on the outside of the circle will be the side you will have to look at See this to get a better idea Same may apply to these sensor Issues

BE After reading your reply A suggestion It could the Diff oil level is low and When you corner It will expose the Contact for the Traction Light? Have had a few Oil filter lights flicker at tickover and topping up the level did the trick PS If you let it go too far then the Crown wheel (the Main internal Part) will get noisy (is a precision Part). Big UK Built Fords used to have problems in this area in the 70's
