My uncle just died and I recieved his minivan - an 85 Dodge Caravan. It's stick, so that serves an interesting opportunity to remind myself how to drive it. I do know, though that the "bushings" need to be replaced, for the stick shifter. Something about if it isn't replaced the "pins" may fall out?? I was told this was the bushings under the carriage of the vehicle . . the guy I spoke to said it's "like sticking a donut up there. . your uncle used a rubber band for example". . hmmmmm. . anyone know of this? Is it hard, a one or two man job? I don't want to lose my pins (whatever the heavens they are!)

Here are some instructions. Unfortunately, they're for specific makes and models so I don't know how useful they'll actually be. Let us know.
