Have been out there surfing for the better part of 2 hours looking for a sun visor extenstion that would work in hubby's semi...you know, the plastic extension that can be attached to the existing visor & pulled down when needed?

I found several options: PolaVisor @ $29.95 & Gadget Universe @ $19.95 (USD)

Anyone know of any others? He was hoping to get one with the Blue Blocker feature, but haven't come across that.

I seriously got tired of going thru web-site after web-site, getting more & more frustrated. Would love to be able to shop on-line. (and yes, I looked in Ebay & Amazon also)

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Giz, did you look here? I found some parts there that I couldn't find anywhere else, either online or off. Go to the Gift Shoppe, look under Household and click on Cars & Trucks. If you don't find anything there let me know and I'll look at a couple of sites for you.

When trucking, I found that the green was too dark, the amber tended to reflect the light into my eyes and the pinkish (hard to find) was nice. I usually just draped the Rolling Stone magazine over the visor and it was perfect. Just slit the binding a couple of inches and it slides completely to the left edge. It moves easily from side to side and is quickly pulled off. Star magazine also works well. The state of Ohio hassles trucks and I was warned by DOT about the pinkish/red one, as they will ticket if they see any kind of red on/in the front of the truck. I'm sure he knows that.

When we had a bunch of people over this weekend I was talking about trying to find this item, and someone had seen one on - go figure - QVC!

So I got on their website and they not only had the BluBlocker version that he wanted, but also had a dual one with a day-time and a night-time section.

I often have to drive at night and headlights create momentary blindness for me. NOT GOOD! eek

I had been using these great night vision clip-on lenses, but even the little bit of extra weight would drive me nuts!

So I'm going to order a sun-only one for him, and a sun and headlight version for me.

Thanks! cool

Do a search for "BluBlocker sun visor on Google. Check out the one on The Auction Man, eBay and QVC. While it isn't exactly what you're looking for, it might be a good substitute until you find it. I love mine because I hate not being able to see through my car visor when I come to a traffic light when the sun is right in my face.
