I was wondering if someone could help me?

I'm trying to sell a 1957 Chevy Belair for my uncle who is sick and needs the money.

He's looking to get about 25 thousand for it, but I think that's crazy considering so much of it has been modified.

If I was to give someone here the particulars could you give me a reasonable price to ask for the car or maybe someone could direct me to a website where I could find out what a fair price would be.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found a website that discusses an auto much like what you describe.. it goes in to a great amount of detail about the features of the auto.

Why not print this page out and compare it to the car your family member possesses?

Also, you could get it appraised by a classic car specialist.

There are no websites that I can find that go that far back for valuation of that car. But there ARE publications and books that do list it, why not go to your local bookstore and put a little leg-work into the research?

I am getting the impression from my research that the price he is asking is NOT way over the top (at least without more information from you about the exact conditions and modifications that were made).
