Can anybody please help me with the answer to this? I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the elements, but not sure what the sequence is.... What are the next seven letters or letter sets in this sequence -
O,AL,AR,AS,AG,IN.....? ++++++++++++ 10-13-05, 10:12 PM newnickname But there are no elements 'IN' or 'AS' - Periodic Table.

What about element 49? And 33?
10-13-05, 10:23 PM newnickname Oh, er... them.
Ha, ha. Yes, well... that table must have changed since I looked at it last. Red Face
D'oh!
8, 13, 18, 33, 47, 49 ? 10-13-05, 10:25 PM jusork Haha! I was getting ready for you to continue with the rest. Big Grin
10-13-05, 10:29 PM jusork Well there sure are a lot in the list that start with 'A.' Think there's any significance in that?
I also notice quite a few number repetitions: 8 - 3 - 8 - 3, and there's two ones and two threes and two fours.
Oh, all are as again. Perhaps it goes like this: O, AL, AR, AS, AG, IN, O, AL, AR, AS, AG, IN...hmm.

10-23-05, 02:14 AM smee Just worked out the answer, it's the elements that start with vowels, in order.
i-eu-er-os-ir-au-at
Thanks for your help!
10-23-05, 01:13 PM jusork Ah! So simple. What does i-eu-er-os-ir-au-at mean though?
10-23-05, 05:43 PM smee i-eu-er-os-ir-au-at is the next seven letter sets of the sequence. They are the elements from the periodoc table.
10-23-05, 09:21 PM jusork Ah, the next seven of course. Thanks for clarifying.
