What nine letter word in the English language is still a word when each of the nine letters is removed one by one until one letter is left?

Note: each letter removed could be taken from anywhere in the word.
As I am writing this I don't know the answer.... yet.....but I will.

(I personnaly think that there could be more than one solution to this).
