Searching for the character :King of Scotland: on the Internet Movie Database gives the following as first choices:

Characters (Exact Matches) (Displaying 1 Result)
1. King of Scotland

Ariodante (1996) (TV) Played by Gwynne Howell
Strangeheart (2003) Played by Ray Bevan
--------
The first one is a filmed opera for TV, and the second one is a Monty Python-esque spoof. Which of these two correct answer do you want?

...or do you want a third possible answer, Bedstor?
Idi Amin is the character in the title of the movie, "The Last King of Scotland."
Maybe you mean Forest Whitaker, who played the Ugandan dictator?

Points to the Ladies
DG
I withheld the "Last" part(of the Title) out intentionally to let people search a bit
But it does come out #1 & #2 on the Google search as I have given the keywords in the question Roll Eyes

Easiest question in Yonks Big Grin

And at the foot of the Google results we also get this

Mike, withholding the title changed the question. You didn't say which movie, so any movie with a character who was "King of Scotland" is correct. In fact, since Amin's claim to the throne of Scotland was in his mind and not a reality, he really wasn't the King of Scotland, and thus "The Last King of Scotland" couldn't possibly be the answer to the question you asked.

Again, we have a question in which we have to guess what Bedstor is thinking rather than what he asked.

The number you are thinking of is 7.

Really bad question, Bedstor. There's more than one possible answer.

John: What whole number am I thinking of? It's between 1 & 3

Marsha: The answer is 2.

John: Wrong.

Marsha: But 2 is the only whole number between 1 & 3.

John: The correct answer is "Orange."

Marsha: But that's a color, not a number!

John: Yes, I changed the question to make it a bit harder.

Well, I don't know that I use it.It's always 'in yonks' or 'for yonks', meaning 'for a long time now' as in "I've not seen Harry for/in yonks" I first heard it back in the 70s when girl students at the Inns of Court used it a lot.It goes well with what we'd think of now as a Sloaney accent Big Grin

Oh I thought Bedstor meant Yonkers, and only changed the question to make it more interesting. If it really is 'yonks,' DG is certainly lost.Big Grin
